Raymond Merriman is a financial astrologer that I follow. In a recent post he asked the following questions:
What if the world economies don’t collapse and the Euro Union doesn’t break up or transform in some way? What if the USA election 2012 is peaceful and civil and not negative with accusations of the other side of being the agent of destruction on the eve of destruction in a nation that seems to be self-destructing as it possibly enters its phase of decline? What if markets don’t fall hard this year, and instead rally to new all-time highs amidst an economy that shows greater job growth and falling unemployment? What if? These are things that most of us don’t expect will happen. But it’s the Uranus-Pluto square, and these are the themes – the events – that have happened historically under this configuration (i.e. 1931-1934, 1876-1878). What if this time THAT was different, and instead of insanity, hysteria, and fear, it was instead smooth and blissful? That would be unexpected, wouldn’t it? That would be Uranus too, wouldn’t it?
There are amazing possibilities before us—what if each one of us spent more time today in joy than in worry?

Winter Solstice 2012

This is the time of year that we talk about going within, taking time to reflect on what we have created and what we hope to create in the year ahead. This is the time to join with family and friends to share the joy of being alive.

As you gather your thoughts, on this the longest night of the year, consider that you are a very unique expression in a vastness that is larger than our human brain can grasp. We are finding, almost daily, new marvels of how our body works. Our cells work together in a mechanization that is so far beyond what we can consciously create that one can really only be in awe of the miracle that—we are.
Astrology’s oldest saying is As Above, So Below. The marvel of our bodies is only surpassed by the wonder of the synchronizations of the planets, asteroids, solar systems, galaxies and even greater unknowns. In your meditations, as you are breathing in and out, breath in the energy of our Galactic Center. The Milky Way’s very center—is currently in alignment with the dawning of our day. It takes 26,000 years for this alignment to come around.

The Galactic Center is so large that we can say it will be on the horizon at dawn for a week prior and a week after Solstice.

Evolution creates unique opportunities—and this is one—every bit of information I’m coming across talks about a new consciousness for Human Beings . Meeting the increasing energy toward more consciousness with a conscious welcome embrace seems like a WIN/WIN to me.

Within our Solar System we also have some very attuned energies to bring to this awakening consciousness. On 12/24/11 there is a New Moon in Capricorn. We have the energies of the Season along with the New Moon to encourage us to examine our fundamental way of life. This is the time to review and determine the seeds we want to plant in the coming Seasons. Jupiter, the archetype of faith, meaning and expansion goes direct on 12/25/11, encouraging us with optimism as we seek to first understand, align, and then– move toward our soul aspirations.

Currently, there is much support in the Heavens for us to dream the dreams, to not be held back by what is but to open to what we want to bring forth. One of my favorite teachers recently has been making the comparison that we humans are so into maintaining our realities that really our cars should have the windshield under our feet as we are more concerned with what is “happening” in the moment, rather than being open to dreaming what we want to call forth. We get stuck with “what is,” keeping the vibration of what is alive by talking about it endlessly, and repeating the pattern over again and again because we are so taken with where we are in this moment. If ever in the heavens a time is lined up for us to bring the windshield forward– to what we want our lives to hold, it is NOW.

This Winter Solstice Season, dream big. Spend as much time as you can feeling love and goodwill toward all. And remember—our Galactic Center is aligned with our inhale and exhale—and the Galactic Center is the very womb that our Solar System and our beloved Earth sprang forth from; possibilities of creating a new consciousness is on our very horizon.

Blogging

I have been looking at blogging as a task. And in the last few months I’ve been doing what I call “inner seed” work. Inner seed work and long lists of tasks don’t go hand in hand in my book. It is now 1/16. The Sun has started his return and so also has my energy. I’m thankful that I have been in tune with the energy of the larger whole to the extend that I’ve been wrestling with the forces that we call shadow work and yet I often ask myself–can’t this be easier? I’ve said for sometime–suffering isn’t all that it has been cracked up to believe. That is so true and yet my largest inner growth spurts have been after I’ve spent sometime in the dark bringing forth the shadow. And now is no different. My Step-Mom died in October. She was my Step-Mom for 46 years and for 44 of those years she was a loving, caring and devoted wife to my Father and to me as her daughter. Then she started a dance with Alzheimer’s (really it started before but it didn’t get ugly until 2 years ago). My Dad, who is now 93, took the brunt of the abuse from both her and her children. When I’m in my larger Self and can see, yeah, why waste anytime on this plane–he’s an awesome man, probably he wants 1 more opportunity to help lift up the lower field of energy. That appears to be what evolution is–moving to higher vibration–octaves. Maybe in his higher self plane he was saying, if I could lift this one and come through it in a state of forgiveness then I will have done 1 more awesome thing for humanity. Truly in my book if he really can transform this energy then he could be nominated for sainthood, at least in my book. And as his daughter, who loves him deeply and already has him pretty high on the pedestal, it brings up all these questions about suffering.
And so now, the light is returning, and I can more often turn my gaze and just be in joy with him and with myself. Turning my gaze to what I want–spending more time reflecting on the gift of his life and their time together. Spending more time delighting in the amazing moments in my life. Our time incarnated will and must involve shedding light on the shadow. It is through looking at the shadow that we see what we don’t want. And yet spending more time gazing at what we don’t want just brings in more of what we don’t want. Gazing on what I do want–allowing joy to spread through my heart and out to the World–
And with that attitude I believe that I can have a knew relationship with blogging. A friend I trust–said why not journal as a blog. I journal a lot, why not do it here?

Full Moon-Aquarius

August 13, 2011 will bring an Aquarius Full Moon. It’s another moment of perfection that this Moon is Aquarius. Things have really been moving toward change–the radicalness of extremes.
Have you been wondering what has been going on? Have you been experiencing erraticness of your day and your mood? The events of Washington and the Stock Market are a reflection of the larger energies out there in the heavens—our macrocosm, are dancing a cathartic harmonic, that has us co-creators here on Earth meeting this energy with an aerobic breath! Hold on—the full Moon happens on Saturday and I’m believing by Sunday we will be able to take a deep breath and let our heartbeat get closer to a fast walk pace rather than the jumping jacks of the last 2 weeks. I’m always looking for the upside and this time it is the fact that we are told we need exercise-we need to raise our heartbeat up several times a week. That’s our microcosm. It appears our Solar System needs to raise their vibrating energy too. When we raise our heartbeat, we are helping our bodies slough off the toxins in our bodies. When our macrocosm does it is basically the same—old energies are sloughed off. The issue is as we are part of the macrocosm we get to, by default, start sloughing. It is all part of this MAJOR transformation we are in.
Pay attention to what your surrounds are telling you. Right now the reflection is up pretty strong and it is a good time to listen, even to what is unpleasant because old stuff to clear out–wants clearing. A Full Moon in Aquarius wants to bring in the unique possibility. Watch for the creativity as you reach for the good feeling place.
And on August 26 Mercury comes out of retrograde–It will be a time to move forward with what you are learning in your reflection then.

Today I was to do a live broadcast on VoiceAmerica. We were all prepared, online and everything. My welcoming and intro’s all ready to go and then Mercury waltzed in the air waves and technological blips abounded–within the first 5 minutes of getting our voices out. And so airwaves needing to be covered a rerun of Steven Forrest, which I consider a great hour to listen to, was put on instead of the show planned today, which was The Shadow of the Goddess and the Great Awakening with Cassandra Leoncini and Dulce Bell-Bulley. Not to worry our conversation will be prerecorded and aired on 8/25/11.
And Mercury, you old trickster. Are you noticing a certain energy is abounding in “not quite connecting”. I’m speaking all levels; electronic, mechanical, communications (with self and others) and completions. How Mercury is talking with you is relevant to where Mercury resides in your chart. All retrogrades are about taking care of “things” left uncompleted. Including, in a really huge way THIS retrograde–shadow stuff–unconscious stuff.
Are you looking at an old repeating pattern that has such a deep rut in your life that getting uncomfortable is the only way you will bear to look at it. If I haven’t mentioned it before— these are some very powerful energies that are coming our way. As friends of mine say, “If you don’t want to look at it now, don’t worry it will get worse.” Now really is a great time to look at what your unconscious mind is saying to you. Give it a chance during these next 3 weeks–at least until 8/26 (Mercury Direct) it’s likely to be speaking loudly and pretty clearly.
It is important with the energies that we are talking about that we look at what is in front of us and do what we can to allow and embrace, especially yourself. Pushing against only makes what looks like the opposing energy get larger. What is it in yourself you need to look at?

I’m writing this in the pronoun you when what I’m really doing is me. We all have unconscious stuff, what am I willing to look at right now, and release? I’ll get back to you on that one 8/25. Blessings!

Full Capricorn Moon 7/14-7/15

Hard to believe it has been 2 weeks since I posted on my blog. Well, this Full Moon actually explains just that. Have you been busy–does it feel like things are still increasing in intensity? If you follow what some believe to be the explanation of the Mayan Calender (many Mayan’s do not agree) we are now half-way through the Ninth Wave which means we are experiencing change in a few weeks from what used to take us a year or more. I can relate!!
If your not paying attention to the Mayan Calender you can simply tune into the fact that this full moon is the amplifier of the last 3 recent eclipses. This magnification is bringing a more instant feedback system. Attune to your feeling nature and remember to stay true to your intentions and your values. It is likely that life is bringing scenarios that will offer you the opportunity to forget what you truly value. The speed of life this summer will challenge even the most determined to take time for yourself, meditate and enjoy the moment. This is oh-so important in being attuned to the moment.
We are in a period of transformation–resistance is futile! We aren’t going back to the old and your energy is needed to heighten this evolution. Rather than regretting what you haven’t done–why not use today to step forward into your life?

Solar Eclipse-July 1, 2011

In 2011 we are having 6 eclipses, 3 Solar and 3 Lunar. Normally we have 4 eclipses per year. The 1/4/11 Solar Eclipse was in the constellation of the Archer and released energy through the bow into our Galactic Center. The 6/1/11 Solar Eclipse was near the Galactic Cross and the Galactic Edge and was in the constellation of the Bull. The actual Eclipse took place right above a Royal Star Aldebaran, the eye of the Bull. This opens the vision to gain success, honor and integrity. Now on 7/1/11 the Solar Eclipse takes place in the foot of one of the Twins, which speaks to our dualistic nature and gives us opportunity to embrace and integrate our individual dualities. The wondrous nature of an Eclipse is that it isn’t a one time occurrence and the opportunity is gone. When any planet crosses the points of the Eclipse the shadow nature of the Eclipse will release energy to be able to connect with the resonating vibration left.
I find it amazing, that in this time when the Galactic Center is so potent in our experience that we have Eclipses that heighten this energy. The Universe is showering us with streams of energy to transform. Take a moment to integrate your own duality. Where is it that you want the shadow to find your inner light? As you shine your light there–it gets brighter for all of us.

I celebrated my Birthday last week. And I am very grateful to be alive and feeling good about life.
I found this poem, on a lose sheet with no signature in my notebook. That means one of my friends wrote this and I don’t remember who. If you wrote this and are reading this blog, please step forward. This is a beautiful poem.

Take love as you depart
Walk gently on the earth
